--- Dear Runware team, I'm applying for the Senior Software Engineer role because Runware is solving a problem I care about: making powerful AI infrastructure simple to use through clean, developer-facing APIs. I'm a backend engineer with 20+ years building high-load distributed systems and the APIs developers build on — across e-commerce, fintech and billing. The work maps closely to what you're describing. I've built and evolved public and internal APIs — a REST/RPC core and Sidekiq worker layer at SeoPult, Dixy, Samokat.tech, a payment-acceptance API at Undev, an internal RPC protocol and shared "Core" framework at Balance Platform. I've handled usage and financial data through QIWI, PayPal and PerfectMoney integrations and a Lending-as-a-Service credit platform, and I've run event-driven systems on Kafka and RabbitMQ — including a Go service at Samokat streaming Kafka events to WebSocket clients on web and mobile — with observability via OpenTelemetry and Jaeger. I'm a Ruby engineer at the core but language-agnostic: I've shipped production Go and worked in PHP/Symfony early in my career, so I'll move fast in a new stack while taking responsibility for quality and security. On the AI side, I'm building LLM-powered features and agentic workflows through my own projects, articles, and my HeavyTech podcast — and as a RubyRussia speaker I think a lot about how to make tools and APIs a pleasure for developers, which is exactly what your DevEx work is about. I own work end-to-end, know when to involve others, and work fully remote in CET/CEST hours. I'd welcome a conversation about how I can help build Runware's APIs and developer experience.
